Building Fences and Animal Rescues

Finally, after a ridiculous number of hours, the fence is done.

Thanks, everyone, for your fence building assistance, advice and patience.

Here are a few pics of Alexia and I putting up the final pickets.

Even as the final pickets were being installed, the girls let the dogs out to run free in the yard.

Everyone, it seems, is excited that both dogs and the cat can now run around the yard to their hearts content.

Well, everyone is excited except for the Nibbles the Rabbit and all the baby birds who have been using our backyard as a safe haven for learning to fly.

Katrina the dog had no trouble finding no less than three baby birds which we had to rescue and relocate for their own safety.

Trouble-maker Katrina also wasted no time jumping into the rabbit pen and immediately grew dizzy after 10 laps chasing Nibbles. Nibbles now spends a lot more time in her cage, voluntarily.
